Tiny Session - Filsinger Family

It was great joy and a fun afternoon with one of my favorite teachers, Michelle Filsinger, and her sweet family.  Michelle was my youngest daughter’s Kindergarten teacher and we have fond memories of that year in Mrs. Filsinger’s class.

I served as one of the room moms and had the blessing of getting to know Michelle that year.  I still get a laugh when I think of their end of year singing program in the classroom.  Poor Mrs. Filsinger could not understand why Halle was so frowny during the performance.  I told her she was mad at me for making her wear a bow that day!

So fast forward and her little baby, Bennett, is now 9!  All three boys are so handsome!  Brayden had grown up so much!  He and my middle were in the same class at Lakeland Elementary.  Miller has a little fun side to his personality and little Bennett is not so little anymore.  It was so sweet to catch up with Michelle and Manfred.
Certainly a bit of fun when I showed the boys the log to scale over the creek.  That brought a few smiles!

Tiny Session - Senior, Lizzie Jorgensen

It was really so hard to choose which photos to post, as Lizzie Jorgensen had a folder full of fun shots.  What a beautiful young lady with grace and poise!
Lizzie, a Senior at Westminster Academy, was so comfortable in front of the camera and it showed as I went through photos to edit.
We moved around from place to place and she was ready to accept any challenge of finding fun places to shoot pictures.
Best wishes in your Senior Year, Lizzie!

Tiny Session - The Butler Family

You know it will be a fun session when your friend lets you know they are bringing their 6-month-old dog with them for photos!  My thoughts were spot on with The Butler Family and their precious dog, Atticus.

My surprise was Wesley and Lewis, who arrived as young men and not the little boys I remembered from years ago.  Not only had these guys changed but they were so relaxed!  Many teen boys hate family picture day.  These brothers were game.

When you take pictures with either little bitty children or pets, you can assume the time spent will be lively.  Atticus was on his cutest, best behavior and it was so fun to watch the family corral him into position.   Atticus settled in for several photos and he is absolutely adorable.

Thank you for a fun afternoon, Leigh, Wes and family!  It was great to see you and catch up while we meandered through the fall leaves!

Tiny Session - Hensley Family

Look at Elizabeth!  How pretty she is.
This one has a spunky side with a little touch of adventure.

I enjoyed meeting Elizabeth and her mom, Denise, for our Tiny Session to grab a few photos for their Christmas card.  Elizabeth was very fun and natural in front of the camera and did not seem to mind any part of nature.

Posing with her mom?  Not a problem.  These two are so sweet!  Thank you both for this fun with photos!

Tiny Sessions - Gibson Family

With a few boys in a family, you never know what kind of cute comedy you might find.

I had the pleasure of having the Gibson family over for a Tiny Session last weekend.  It had been years since seeing them in person so I was excited to see how much the kids had grown.
The Gibson boys had changed so much!  I think Drew was a baby the last time I saw him.  Emma Hays is a beautiful young lady, and has such calmness about her even with two animated younger brothers!
All were fun and they just rolled with the afternoon.

It was a fun session; we talked Alabama Football, teenage driving and who gets in the most ‘trouble’.  The jury is still out for that last one.

Tiny Sessions - Michelle O'Brien and Family

Sunday was an early start for our Tiny Session with Michelle O’Brien and her family!  It was a beautiful morning and the cloudy sky made a great setting for photos.
Michelle’s daughter, Kaelyn, was so easy and always smiling.  That is a big deal for a teenager on a Sunday morning!  Kaelyn had a full day after our session as this swimmer was on her way to a swim meet.

Full day or not, this family made the most of this fall weather.  It was such a pleasure to meet them and spend time photographing them!  Thank you, Michelle and family!
